The fun started at the airport, designing the playlist.

Not Desperate...and Not All Housewives: Women, Water and Wine

The fun started at the airport, designing the playlist. Along the way, we shared stories, ideas and parts of ourselves. I loved getting the party started and then watching strangers lighten up (so it took a few LED reader boards), loosen up and join in our fun. The ability for seven women to bond on the water in a place as beautiful as the British Virgin Islands truly was a lifetime experience. For me to be able to relax and forget about work and daily problems was wonderful. Sailing around on a yacht lends itself to making many friends, and I think we managed that. There are few spots in the world like the British Virgin Islands, with their protected waters, fun islands and water activities. Spa cuisine, dancing to the playlist every day and swimming made for a true yachting vacation. The ultimate compliment was the many requests from various women and men (sorry guys, girls only) along the way to please let them join in next year. The new friendships I made are a treasure to me. Our first trip had three women. Word spread and there were seven the following year. With this story, word will spread farther still. Hey, Honey, I think we need a bigger boat for next year’s trip!
