The Ferretti Group’s new Pershing 115 open yacht is the epitome of speed with style. Pershing’s first model over 30 meters, she achieves 42 knots when equipped with standard power: twin 3,700-hp MTU 16V 4000 M90 engines coupled to KaMeWa Rolls-Royce water-jet drives. With an optional 5,100-hp Textron Lycoming gas turbine, projected top end increases to 55 knots. Sleek, futuristic looks complement her blazing performance. The composite hull, which incorporates carbon fiber, is laid up using SCRIMP vacuum-infusion technology to decrease weight while enhancing strength. The exterior layout offers multiple sunning areas, including a foredeck lounge and a private sun deck atop the cabin roof. The interior is both striking in looks and efficient in its use of space. The main deck combines salon, dining area and pilothouse in a single, open floor plan. An innovative "mezzanine" between the main and lower decks provides a flexible space for a media room, office or children’s playroom. Below, angled berths in the master and VIP staterooms ensure room for luxury accommodation in each, while all four staterooms include ensuite heads – as do the three separate crew cabins.
