Superlatives define the 2005 ShowBoats Awards finalists and
winners, all launched in 2004. Here can be found many wonders, including the
world’s largest sloop, the largest all-aluminum yacht and the longest motor
yacht ever built for a private owner. There’s a sailing yacht that can land
a helicopter and a motor yacht that carries two at once. There’s even a yacht
built on a pair of asymmetrical hulls. With these awards, we acknowledge the
remarkable diversity, innovation and technology that characterize today’s
luxury-yacht design, engineering and construction. The ShowBoats Awards will be
presented June 23 in a ceremony at the Grimaldi Forum during the ShowBoats International Monaco Rendezvous 2005.
