Kahalani, the 140-foot Feadship that sold through CNI, accommodates 10 in five cabins, plus crew.
December-January 2006

Camper & Nicholsons International (CNI) delivered exciting news on several recent sales and new listings. One of the fastest sales was that of the 140-foot Feadship Kahalani, built in 1993 and completed by Alex Lees-Buckley. CNI also reports the in-house sale of the 97-foot sailing yacht Leopard of London, brokered by Nicholas Baker and Neil Cheston. Cheston has also been consumed with a new-construction project—a 65-meter Feadship for a confidential client. The Palma office sold several yachts nearing 100 feet: the Astondoa motor yacht El Duende, the Sanlorenzo Sweet Caroline, and Lady Dana, a motor yacht from Cantieri di Pisa. New central-agency listings include Netanya VIII, a 190-foot CMN Cherbourg; Andale, a 163-foot Codecasa; and Georgia, a 159-foot Alloy sailing yacht. Visit www.cnyachts.com.

Cantieri Navali Lavagna (CNL) sold a record number of Admiral Yachts this year, including two 82-foot Admiral 25s, two 105-foot Admiral 32s, a 115-foot Admiral 35 and two 128-foot Admiral 39s. The company also sold its first 177-foot steel displacement motor yacht, currently under construction at the T. Mariotti shipyard in Genoa. The 177-footer is due for completion in November 2007. All of the nine vessels were sold in the span of a year and are either aluminum or steel-and-aluminum construction; none are part of a series. Be Cool, a 115-foot planing yacht, is the newest to the Admiral fleet. She represents the first in a series of light aluminum alloy yachts scheduled to launch in the coming months. On schedule to launch from Benetti is the third Amnesia for satisfied client Graham de Zille. The new 200-foot yacht is being constructed at Benetti’s Livorno facility and is the third yacht for this owner from the yard. The newest Amnesia will surpass her predecessors in interior and exterior design. Redman Whiteley Dixon worked closely with the owner and the Benetti design team to create a contemporary interior with many elegant details. Accommodations include a significant owner’s suite with two bathrooms, a study and a dressing room, as well as five guest suites, two spacious salons and a massage room. Crew accommodations and circulation is an evolution of the previous Amnesia’s highly successful layout, which helped her become one of the most popular charter yachts on the market by ensuring access to all guest areas and uninterrupted movement for all on board.
