The impeccable 94-foot 1929 William Fife & Son sailing yacht Belle Adventure recently sold through the Edmiston Antibes office. Four new central agency listings for sale await similar destinies, among them the Wallypower 118, the 108-foot CBI Navi Sea Shell II, the 82-foot 1948 Plyms-Stockholm sailing yacht Agneta and the 167-foot Codecasa Iliki VII (re-named Sweety). New for charter is Sensation, a 2007 164-footer built by New Zealand’s Sensation Yachts that will be cruising the Med. Visit www.edmistoncompany.com.

The Fort Lauderdale division of Northrop and Johnson had some notable sales and new sales listings. Recent recipient of ShowBoats’ Best Refit/Reconfiguration award, the 168-foot Palmer Johnson Helios2 has sold. The 150-foot Trinity Cakewalk, the 106-foot Holland Jachtbouw Christoffel’s Lighthouse, the 97-foot Lowland Echo, the 115-foot Trinity Watercolours and the 138-foot Sterling Maverick join her. The 156-foot motor sailer MITseaAH from Pendennis is for sale through the company, as is the 146-foot Breaux Gray Mist III. The 123-foot Savoy had a price reduction. Available for holiday charter in the Leeward Islands, 153-foot Argyll had a summer refit. The 88-foot Palmer Johnson Bellflower will also receive some upgrades and be back on the charter market for Spring 2008. Visit www.northropandjohnson.com.

International Yacht Collection announced several recent sales, including the 228-foot Oceanfast Floridian, the 130-foot Westport Crystal Sea and the 112-foot Westport Savoir-Faire. IYC’s charter fleet also reports that five new vessels have joined the collection. These newbies include Trinity’s 164-foot September launch Mine Games, the 135-foot Christensen Atlantica and the 126-foot Trinity Dorothy Ann. The 142-foot Trinity Chevy Toy is also available for charter in the Caribbean this winter with a special rate if booked before 2008. In the Bahamas, the 110-foot Lazzara Le Reve offers accommodations for eight guests. Visit www.iyc.com.

Now located at 888 East Las Olas Boulevard in Fort Lauderdale, Merle Wood & Associates has a wealth of news to report since relocating, including the addition of well-known industry veteran Sam Israeloff to its team. Israeloff will serve in the production and custom yachts division. Recent sales at Merle Wood include the 132-foot Oceanfast Christine, the 100-foot 1992 Broward Beeliever and the 85-foot Azimut Petrus. Three motor yachts comprise the new central agency sales listings, among them the 124-foot Delta Scott Free, the 110-foot 2004 Broward Entrepreneur and the 94-foot Ferretti We Won. The 86-foot Azimut Metropolis and the 82-foot Royal Denship Louise join Beeliever and Entrepreneur for charter. Visit www.merlewood.com.

Burgess added 192-foot Magna Grecia to the charter and brokerage markets; she will head to the Indian Ocean for the winter season. Also in charter news is the central agency listing for the 121-foot Guy Couach Kadimos, launched this year. Burgess signed three new construction projects, a 279-footer at oceAnco, a 230-footer at Proteksan Turquoise and a 205-footer at Icon Yachts. Visit www.burgessyachts.com.

Big news from Ocean Independence is the sale of eight yachts in just 14 days. Topping the list is 228-foot Floridian (also sold through IYC). Others included a 105-foot Sunseeker Predator, a 95-foot Dragos, a 95-foot Hakvoort and the 62-foot Wally sailing yacht Wallyno. Three OCI central agency yachts joined this group: the 115-foot oceAnco Findings, the 75-foot Jongert White Garuda and the 69-foot Ferretti Nilo.
