The Italian owner of Lady in Blue, Amels’ latest launch, loves to entertain
aboard. To that end, the 161-foot yacht, designed by Studio Alberto Pinto,
features an open salon and dining area on the main deck and a spacious skylounge
and entertainment area on the bridge deck.
The eclectic interior combines
eight different woods with a variety of surfaces and textures. Extending the
coach roof forward over a proven Amels hull design provided the master suite
with enough space for a sitting room and an office. Set forward of amidships,
the engine room separates the four double guest cabins aft from the forward crew
quarters.
The yacht’s maximum speed of 15 knots is reached on a pair of
Cummins KTA 38M2 1,200-hp engines. Cruising at 13 knots, Lady in Blue has a
4,500-nm range.
