Waterfront: A Racer's Edge

Pantera 76
With the first of a new range of high-performance motor yachts, Pantera Yachts went to the top: the top of the record books that is. Nine-time speed boat champion Fabio Buzzi designed the Pantera 76’s lightweight GRP deep-V hull, which will be powered by MTU series 2000 engines driving ZF Trimax surface drives. With standard 1,500 horsepower engines, projected top speed will be 45 knots. The Super Sport version will boast a total of 4,800 horsepower and reach 56 knots.

The exterior design is by Cor de Rover; Guido de Groot provided the interior styling. Owners may select from three accommodation plans, all with the galley down. Of the two three-cabin layouts, one features a full-beam amidships master instead of a lounge. The third design includes a fourth ensuite twin cabin with no lounge.

The first Pantera 76 is building at Mulder Shipyards and will be delivered at the end of 2004.
