The 67-Meter Anna Joins Feadship’s Recent Prolific Output.
Waterfront: Another From Busy Feadship

Feadship 220
Feadship continues its busy 2006/2007 season with the launch of the 67-meter (220-foot) twin-screw motor yacht Anna. Anna is the largest yacht in terms of volume ever built by the De Vries yard in Aalsmeer, Holland. Limited information on the yacht was available at press time, but it is known that she will be completed at Feadship’s giant new facilities in Makkum. "With her steel hull and aluminum superstructure, Anna already has a magnificent body," says the owner’s representative, Julien Jounault. "But like any graceful lady, she only wants to meet her public when fully dressed. The team in Makkum will now apply the finishing touches—Anna’s makeup, you might say. I am sure the wait will be worthwhile." Designed by Michael Leach Design, the yacht’s naval architecture is by De Voogt Naval Architects. An aggressive expansion plan is under way at Feadship that will allow the group to launch up to five yachts per year, ranging in size up to 180 meters.
