The owners of Beverley, Benetti Classic No. 11, likely didn’t intend to make a little
bit of yachting history, but they did. launched in January, is the
first yacht with a black hull ever delivered by the Viareggio yard.
Stunning as she may be from the outside, Beverley is
all Benetti inside. The interior was designed by Geraldine Darlington of
Intérieur Sud who employed fabrics by Designers Guild, Osborne & Little,
Kravet and Romo, and others. The color palette includes reds, oranges, blacks
and browns. White-and-honey onyx dominates the bathrooms. The main hallway
floors are teak parquet, the upper deck wengé and the main deck dark cherry.
Much of the wood paneling is cherry. Beverley was designed for
charter in the Med
and the Caribbean.
