Recently launched by Northern Marine, Julianne illustrates
the high level of finish that the Anacortes, Washington–based builder is capable
of providing to not only its larger motor yachts, but to its smaller,
expedition-style boats as well. Built for an East Coast customer who intends to
use the boat for extensive cruising, the 80-footer (24-meter) has the rugged
exterior looks associated with all of Northern Marine’s boats in this size
range, as well as a handsome and beautifully executed interior designed by Scott
Cole of Ardeo Design.
Rather than trying to wring out as many cabins as possible in a
given length, Julianne has an arrangement that provides a pair
of spacious suites for the owners and their guests, a generous stateroom for the
captain and a fourth cabin with three berths for extra crew or unexpected
guests.
An economical Detroit Diesel Series 60 engine provides
Julianne with a range of more than 4,100 nautical miles.
