Bravado Makes the Olympics.

Abeking & Rasmussen 147
Superior accommodations for 10 to 12 guests, a 500 GRT limit and delivery in time for the summer Olympic Games were the parameters that shaped the build of Bravado.  Abeking & Rasmussen met the American owner’s request one week before the contracted delivery with a stunning 44.9-meter steel-and-aluminum tri-deck. Distinguished by large floor-to-ceiling windows, her exterior styling and interior design are by Reymond Langton Design.

Built both to Lloyd’s Rules and the MCA Code, the yacht’s construction includes six watertight bulkheads and double-bottom tanks for fuel and fresh and black water. Equipment highlights include fin stabilizers with zero-speed function, an Atlas shore-power converter with SmartBOX and seamless transfer, and a 100-hp electric bow thruster. Caterpillar supplied the two 1,000-hp 3508B main engines that propel her to a maximum speed of 14.5 knots. At 12 knots, she can voyage 3,500 nautical miles.
