Waterfront: Cast of Character
Burger’s Ingot is a rich blend of refinement and go-anywhere attitude.

Burger Boat Company of Manitowoc, Wisconsin, in June launched the 153-foot tri-deck motor yacht Ingot. Ingot was designed to be an environmentally friendly exploration vessel with the refinement of a classic and stately motor yacht.

The yacht’s interior features a neo-classical motif enhanced by traditionally designed, book-matched, raised-panel Honduras mahogany. Incorporating curved, molded and radial joiner details throughout, it is accented by 104 custom-built, round Honduras mahogany pillars with maple burl-inlaid veneers.

The interior central staircase, adjacent to the full-size, wheelchair-accessible elevator servicing all four levels, includes a recessed mahogany railing with wrought iron accents. At skydeck level, the stairway features a full glass surround. The salon and dining area feature two large, backlit onyx ceiling panels, one of which is directly over the seating area in the main salon. A radius-faced mahogany china cabinet with a form-matching soffit above divides the dining area and the salon. (Click image to enlarge)

The lower accommodations include four spacious king-size VIP staterooms with walls of raised-panel mahogany and a blend of soft fabrics. The ensuite baths have heated floors and feature rare marbles, granites and onyx.

The skydeck has a large pilothouse/navigation area forward with an adjacent captain’s stateroom. Aft is the comfortable skylounge with an entertainment area and a wet bar.

Ingot’s exterior bridge deck features an inviting seating arrangement forward of the pilothouse. Aft are several additional dining and relaxation areas.

The sun deck has a teak wet bar with a large-screen television, a hot tub and sun lounge, a built-in treadmill and a dayhead. Tenders stow discreetly on the aft main deck.

Ingot was set to travel on her own bottom to the Monaco Yacht Show in September.
