Feadship’s Latest Launch, Callisto, Is a Heavenly 215-Foot Build That Takes Her Name from Gods and Planets.
Waterfront: Celestial Superyacht

Feadship 215
In mythology, Callisto was the favorite nymph of the goddess Artemis, who was tricked by Zeus into having his child. Upon delivering the baby, she was changed into a bear and later hunted by her own son, unbeknownst to him. Zeus took pity on Callisto and placed her in the sky as the constellation Ursa Major (Great Bear) before she could be killed. Her son was placed alongside her as Ursa Minor (Little Bear).

However, in yachting circles Callisto is simply the latest launch from Feadship, a collaboration between De Voogt Naval Architects and Terence Disdale. Callisto is a heavy-displacement yacht measuring 215 feet (65.5 meters) that is capable of speeds of up to 16 knots from twin Caterpillar 3516 engines. Her transatlantic range is 12 knots. Similar to Feadship’s Cakewalk, this yacht also stores her tenders on the bow, opening up all aft decks as social spaces.
