Azzura of Australia Launches Retro Cambria II.
Waterfront: Edwardian Luxury

Azzura 100
The second-largest custom motor yacht built by Australian shipyard Azzura Marine, 100-foot (30.5-meter) Cambria II was designed to evoke the Edwardian era. Her retro styling is inspired by the owner’s previous project, a rebuild of the 1928 Fife K-Class yacht Cambria. Azzura owner Iain Murray personally designed Cambria II’s elegant lines.

The yacht’s interior styling was created by Thomas Hamel, who used mahogany joinery and antique furniture to give her a period look. The rich color scheme for the soft goods is in deep green, copper and gold. Arched windows provide spectacular views from the large salon and dining area for eight. The layout also includes a main-deck owner’s suite and two guest cabins on the lower deck. Following the owner’s brief, Hamel designed each stateroom to provide guests with the luxury accommodations of a vessel from yachting’s sumptuous past. (Click image to enlarge)

Twin 1,000-hp Caterpillar C18 diesels will drive Cambria II’s composite hull to speeds of up to 19 knots.
