Royal Denship’s 85-Foot Flybridge Extends Yard’s Semi-Custom Range.

Royal Denship 85
Royal Denship made its name producing one-off custom luxury yachts, but the company’s New Range concept applies its one-off experience to semi-custom production builds. The latest example of this drive is the sleek, new 85 Flybridge. She joins the 82 Open that was launched in 2004 as the basis of the new range that will extend from 82 to 105 feet. With naval architecture by Bill Dixon and interior styling by Design Unlimited, the yacht’s most distinguishing feature is the generous size of her open-plan salon and dining area, which Royal Denship claims is among the largest in her class, thanks to the capacious interior volume of the medium-V planing hull. Accommodations include two twin guest cabins, a forward VIP cabin and a master suite amidships. The flybridge has a robust rigid top covering the helm position and an extendable bimini aft with the option of an integral hot tub. Powered by twin Caterpillar C32s with V-drive, the 85 achieved a top speed of 33 knots during initial sea trails. (Click image to enlarge)
