Dutch Yard Launches Its 50-Meter Flagship.
Waterfront: Hefty Hakvoort

Hakvoort 164
More than 400 people gathered in the cold Dutch winter to watch as Hakvoort launched 50-meter (164-foot) JeMaSa, the largest yacht by volume and tonnage produced to date by the Monnickendam-based yard. Espen Øino designed the yacht’s profile, while Diana Yacht Design handled the naval architecture. Michela Reverberi and Barbara Barry created the interior.

JeMaSa is a twin-screw oceangoing motor yacht with a steel hull and aluminum superstructure. Equipped to be enjoyed throughout the year, she has windscreens for the sides of the aft deck and panels to completely enclose it in cold weather. A split-level sun deck accommodates both a helicopter platform and a Jacuzzi. For comfort, she is equipped with stabilization-at-anchor systems.
