Nordlund’s New 110-Foot Yachtfish Gets a Fifties-Style Send-Off.
Waterfront: Hot Rod Yacht

Nordlund 110
Early in the morning of March 1, Nordlund Boat Company’s latest build, Victorious, was set gently into the water for the first time. A follow-on project to Vic and Nancy Edelbrock’s previous Nordlund, 89-foot (27-meter) VictorE, the new 110-foot (33.5-meter) yachtfisherman shares many of her predecessor’s features, with the added benefits of more interior volume, longer range and increased performance from a pair of MTU 16V2000s finished in Edelbrock Corporation’s signature red and chrome. Her owner plans to use her for extended cruising and fishing from Alaska to Mexico. Nordlund’s stalwart engineering team of Ed Monk Jr. and Tim Nolan designed Victorious.

Later, with fifties- and sixties-era American classics flanking the entrance, the construction bay that Victorious had just vacated was transformed into "Vic’s Yacht Rod Café," complete with checkered flooring, red carnations and golden oldies playing on the jukebox.
