Codecasa’s Latest Launch Is a Collaborative Effort.
Waterfront: Italian Queen

Codecasa Ugo 167
Regina d’Italia, the handsome steel-hulled motor yacht that launched recently at the Codecasa Ugo shipyard in Italy, owes her exterior lines to a collaborative effort between naval architects Franco and Anna Dellarole and Studio Lazzarini & Pickering. The 51-meter (167-foot) yacht’s ample 9.5-meter beam allows room for an enormous sun deck fit for a queen.

The owner also engaged Lazzarini & Pickering for the interior design, which makes good use of the yacht’s internal volume. The owner’s suite includes a private office and his-and-hers head joined by a shared Jacuzzi. Ten guests are billeted in three double staterooms and two twin cabins belowdecks. The long list of public entertaining areas includes a skylounge, a main salon featuring two large half-moon settees and a full-beam formal dining salon. A guest elevator serves all four decks.

Regina d’Italia is projected to run at a stately cruise speed of 16 knots at full load, delivered by a pair of Caterpillar 3516Bs. Her range is 4,600 nautical miles.
