Waterfront: Light Touches
Bright ideas define CRN’s 177-foot Maraya.

CRN 177
CRN’s Maraya, launched last fall, relies heavily on innovative lighting to enhance the appeal of her interior. The yacht is the yard’s first build to employ a lighting system based exclusively on fiber optics and LEDs. More than 600 points of light in the internal guest areas enhance her architectural features and furnishings. Spaces are set apart by cones of light typical of precisely projected fiber-optic systems, adding depth to decorative interior features.

The interplay of light and design extends throughout the yacht’s staterooms, which include an owner’s suite and five guest cabins. Maraya accommodates 12 guests and 10 crew. The owner’s suite features a private study and a balcony created by a hatch that lowers 90 degrees away from the hull and over the water. Four guest cabins on the lower deck have wardrobes and ensuite bathrooms decorated in marble with heated floors. Another VIP cabin is located on the main deck.

The rest of the yacht’s interior spaces are in keeping with the owner’s concept of "harmony and modern elegance."
