Clementine Delivered in Record 16 Months from Sketch to Sail.
Waterfront: Moonen’s Newest Darling

Moonen 96
Designed by Rene van der Velden with naval architecture from Stolk Marimecs and Moonen, Clementine is the first 96 in the new generation of Moonen displacement family cruisers between 84 and 120 feet. The dark blue–hulled 96-footer displays several Moonen traits, including a round bilge steel hull with classic sheerline, bold clipper bow and curved transom with swim platform. Her aluminum superstructure has been extended to accommodate a spacious interior for owners, six guests, a nanny and four crew—all on a waterline of 87 feet. Italian designer Alessandra Negrato has styled a tranquil and elegant interior under the owners’ direction. Design elements include cherry joinery, painted and fabric-covered surfaces and minimalist lighting fixtures. Original artwork is also integral to the décor. Clementine’s outdoor areas have been uniquely conceived for enclosure with glass doors, providing for comfortable outdoor living in any climate. Twin Caterpillar C18s drive the Moonen 96 at a cruising speed of 13 knots and generate a range of 3,500 nautical miles at nine knots. (Click image to enlarge)
