Italcraft expands its line with an Open 105.
Waterfront: New Flagship for Italian Builder

Following the success of its 2005 95-foot Maxidrago, Italcraft continues the evolution of its open yacht design with a new 105-footer. The 105 is an elegant blend of tradition and modernity, drawing on classic forms to soften the deliberate angularities of the 95, while still showing an appreciation for the Maxidrago’s design.

Italcraft’s new flagship will have a large aft cockpit with a central sun bed, C-shape sofa, barbecue, sink, bar and a table seating eight to 10 guests. Protecting this alfresco terrace is an automated shade panel that extends to cover the sun bed. The 105 features a large master stateroom, plus a foyer with seating and a media center that can be closed off to enhance privacy. There are three additional staterooms, including one VIP, all of which are ensuite. (Click image to enlarge)

Interior materials include a range of woods such as ebony, Ceylon oak and teak, in warm and dark tones that create a pleasant contrast with the cream-colored leather and carpeting. The 105 features the same successful hull design as the Maxidrago 95 and was designed by Gianluca Caputi with the interior design by French designer Rémi Tessier. Twin 2,400-hp MTU engines deliver speeds in excess of 40 knots.
