The Posillipo Technema 85 Takes to the Waves.

The new Posillipo Technema 85 from the
Rizzardi Group made her debut at the 2006 Genoa Boat Show. She is a development
of the company’s successful 80-foot flybridge motor yacht launched in 1996. The
result of customer demand for a larger and more comfortable vessel, in-house
staff carried out the restyling, and the new lines retain the ruggedly elegant
appeal of the Posillipo brand. The distinctive shape of the double side windows
lend the new 85 a character of her own, while the flybridge and aft main deck
provide ample space for sunbathing and convivial open-air dining.
Accommodations consist of a full-beam master suite amidships, two ensuite double
cabins and a forward VIP suite. The extra length means owners can choose from a
forward garage, a captain’s cabin or storage room. The Posillipo Technema 85 can
be powered by a pair of Series 2000 MTUs for a top speed of 32 knots, or more
powerful 2,400-hp common-rail units. Rizzardi also has a 120-foot flybridge
model in the works due for launch this spring.
