The 200-foot (61-meter) superyacht April Fool, recently launched by the Royal Van Lent shipyard, is dedicated to the business of pleasure. Capable of a 5,000-mile range at 13 knots with her twin Caterpillar 3516B DITA diesels, the steel-hulled displacement yacht can transport her owner to lands beyond his wildest dreams—while the 18-member crew pampers him and his guests. Elbowroom is guaranteed on this spacious Dutch beauty, designed inside and out by De Voogt Naval Architects. The owner’s main-deck suite encompasses a huge stateroom,
his-and-hers dressing rooms and a private media room. Guests are accommodated in
four large staterooms and a dayroom. An elevator whisks them up to the sun deck,
where they can choose between working out in the gym, sunbathing, soaking in the
Jacuzzi or feasting on grilled delicacies in the large outdoor dining area.

Fool is also fully equipped with
watersports equipment, including fishing gear. Her elegant San Juan 30 tender
adds a touch of class in port. Feadship |
