Feadship launches the first of its F45 Vantage semi-custom series.
Waterfront: Off the Line

Feadship has launched the first hull of its F45 Vantage semi-custom series. Dubbed Space, the yacht was built at Feadship’s Royal Van Lent shipyard following a three-year R&D effort focused on creating a design that would offer prospective owners Feadship quality at a price significantly lower than the company’s fully custom offerings.

The yacht’s exterior lines were developed by De Voogt Naval Architects with Sinot Design Associates and retain the look and feel of the Feadship line. The owner asked Donald Starkey to decorate the interior. Starkey produced a design derived from the Milano style, offering a fresh and classically modern atmosphere. Accommodations are on the main deck. The owner’s stateroom forward has a high ceiling and a four-by-two-meter skylight.

Space is the first of a series of three F45s. The other two have sold, and another series of three is in production. The company plans to launch the first of its SL39 series next year.
