New 100 Offers Flexibility to Younger American Target Market.

Cortenzo 100
French builder Cortenzo debuts its 100-foot (30.5-meter) motor yacht with high hopes for the U.S. market, targeting a forward-thinking, active clientele. Working with stylists Mer et Design and naval architect Philippe Subrero, the firm has opted for deliberately sporting lines and what they term a "widebody" configuration, with a 24-foot-seven-inch beam to achieve optimal interior space and wide windows to bring sunlight into all the cabins.

It is available in two versions, a five-cabin and a four-plus-one configuration. The latter allows the master stateroom in the bow to be changed into a general-purpose living room or office, simply by altering the setup of the modular sofa. Equipped with a digital workstation and home theater, the cabin can be easily switched back to a VIP suite on demand.

She is powered by twin 1,800-hp MTU 16V2000 M90 diesels and displaces 95 tons. First delivery is planned for spring 2007.
