Waterfront: Russian Hour
Moscow’s Timmerman Yachts launches its first 40.

Russian builder Timmerman Yachts last spring launched the first of its Timmerman 40 series, named Kitty. With interior and deck arrangements done by Holland’s René van der Velden, and interior decorating by Cannes-based Larvor interior designers, the vessel is rich in western influence. Vripack Yachting International handled the naval architecture.

Her interior is done in the modern-classic style with teak, walnut and textured leather and is furnished with abundant antiques. Austrian company Sinnex built the interior.

The Timmerman 40 cruises at 12.5 knots and has a range of 4,000 nautical miles. She can accommodate 12 guests in five cabins. Her crew of eight resides in four cabins. She was built under supervision of Det Norske Veritas and corresponds to MCA requirements. She will make her public debut at this year’s Monaco Yacht Show.
