Lady Linda Showcases Her Owners’ Experience and Builder Trinity’s Skill.
Waterfront: Style and Grace

Trinity 157
With her graceful lines and symmetrical proportions, the 157-foot (47.9-meter) tri-deck motor yacht Lady Linda from Trinity Yachts blends the best of contemporary and traditional styling. The owners’ second Trinity, she is the proud result of their extensive yachting experience. "The owner and his wife were very involved in all the minutia," says Billy Smith, the shipyard’s vice president. They participated extensively in the design process, from the sight lines to the stonework, he reports.

The owners and Evan K. Marshall Design collaborated for Lady Linda’s interior. Highlights include the master suite with its large his-and-hers bathrooms, the skylounge with its panoramic views and the private dining salon, which seats 10. Eight guests are accommodated in a combination of VIP and guest suites below. A striking marble package runs throughout the yacht, installed by artisan Jeff Homchick of Seattle.

Trinity’s design team handled the naval architecture for the aluminum-hulled displacement vessel, which has a 28-foot beam and a draft of seven feet, two inches. Twin Caterpillar 3512B diesels provide an impressive top end of approximately 20.5 knots and a cruising speed of 18 knots. As with all Trinity projects, Lady Linda is ABS certified and MCA compliant.

Just more than one year since the shipyard closed, with many of its workers made homeless by Hurricane Katrina, Trinity is enjoying one of its best years ever, with 17 projects currently under way. Lady Linda is the latest example of the yard’s fine American technology and craftsmanship.
