ISA’s Latest Launch Marks Significant Progress for Young Italian Yard.
Waterfront: Sweet Smell of Success

ISA 156
Named for a family of flowers, 156-foot Lady Dahlia is the third of four sisterships from Italian builder International Shipyards Ancona (ISA). Speeches from managing director Gianluca Fenucci and marketing director Marcello Maggi kicked off the private launch ceremony, followed by hearty thanks from the owner’s wife.

Built in steel and aluminum, Lady Dahlia features accommodation for 12 guests. Walter Franchini and Cristiano Gatto created spacious staterooms and social areas on the main and upper decks, all sleekly wrapped in Euro-styling, within the generous 30-foot beam. Twin MTU 12V4000M 70 diesels propel the yacht to 17 knots. Lady Dahlia is built to Lloyds and MCA classification.

Part of Italy’s Rodriguez Group and accounting for nine percent of the group’s worldwide sales, ISA has seen significant growth. The yard recently launched Walter Franchini’s Ellix Too (see SBI Aug./Sept. 2005), the second in its 155-foot 470 series, which has four additional builds in process.
