Waterfront: Tailor Made
New Maiora 23m motor yacht boasts a Bespoke interior.

Maiora 76
Seventy-six-foot fiberglass yachts generally are not customizable. This is production-boat territory. Yet builder Fipa Italiana Yachts of Viareggio prides itself in making each Maiora a unique project. The latest model in the line, the Maiora 23m flybridge motor yacht, is offered in three- and four-stateroom versions with custom interior décor.

Catch Me is a fine example of the new series. Her owner opted for the three-stateroom plan, which allows for more elbowroom in the sleeping quarters. In-house designer Roberto Del Re and the Fipa team gave her a clean, elegant look framed in honey-hued Honduran mahogany. The main salon has an open layout that encompasses an L-shaped sitting area and a dining table for six. The fully equipped but compact galley is one step up, separated from the salon by a waist-high bar. The wraparound windshield, in addition to large side windows, lets in daylight. A more formal salon arrangement also is available, with a full bulkhead screening the galley and pilothouse from view.

Catch Me’s forward VIP stateroom would be worthy of master status on any other 76-foot yacht. It includes a bathroom with a full shower and dressing area. The master stateroom itself is even more spacious, running the full beam of the boat. A mahogany bulkhead with a stylish cutout separates the bedroom from the closet-lined dressing room and white marble bathroom. A twin cabin with ensuite head rounds out the sleeping quarters. Crew quarters for two are in the bow, removed from the guest accommodations.

Above, the flybridge provides a dramatic space for entertaining or sunbathing. A large sun pad fills the afterdeck instead of the typical tender and crane. They are stored in a foredeck garage.

Like all Maioras, the 23m is built to RINA Maltese Cross standards.
