Perini Navi launches its 40th bluewater sailer.

Perini Navi in April launched
its 40th bluewater sailing yacht, the 52-meter ketch Tamsen. The
yacht, which has a steel hull and aluminum superstructure, fully incorporates
the Perini Navi pedigree and the owners’ vision of a comfortable vessel suited
for ocean crossings and long distance cruising.
 Tamsen accommodates 12
guests in four cabins with private bathrooms and an owner’s suite. The yacht has
five additional cabins to accommodate eight crew. The yacht’s amenities are in
keeping with Perini’s reputation for luxury. Her living area, ideal for alfresco
dining, is equipped with a structural sofa and chairs, along with two tables
that can transform into one large table for 12. The interior is trimmed out

Thirteen captive winches handle her 1,127 square meters of
sail. Twin Caterpillar diesels give her a top speed of 15 knots under
power.
