Waterfront: Three's Magic

The trio of Brazilian builder Inace, Fraser Yachts’ John DeCaro and Kirschstein Designs combined their nautical sensibilities and designed a series of tri-deck motor yachts from 110 to 135 feet. Yachts in the series are based on the concept of operationally being long-range, expedition vessels that have the livability and panache of a motor yacht. Scheduled for a 2008 launch, a 133-footer (40.5-meter) is currently building at Inace.

The 807-square-foot owner’s suite spans full beam on the main deck. It includes his-and-hers baths, an oversized walk-in dressing room for her, a larger library-cum-television den for him and a separate breakfast room. The design features five ensuite guest cabins on the lower deck, one of which converts to a gym.

The crew of six plus the captain split their quarters between two twin cabins forward, an engineer’s and a crew cabin in the stern, and the captain’s cabin abaft the wheelhouse, forward of the skylounge. All of the yachts in the series (two 111-footers are currently under construction) will be built to MCA code and ABS class, with hullforms by Jon Overing.
