Family-owned West Bay SonShip recently delivered two new fiberglass pilothouse motor yachts from its Fraser River facility in Delta, British Columbia. The larger of the two is 92-foot Dawn Treader VII. The experienced yachting couple who commissioned her will also be piloting her (but she still includes an ensuite crew cabin). Working with West Bay’s in-house design team, they’ve created a highly customized yacht. The unusual décor blends Native American and Asian elements, including natural bamboo wall coverings and a Japanese bath with a stone surround in the master bathroom. She also features a piano studio in the master stateroom and clipper ship–style cherry planks in one of the two guest cabins. The second launch, 85-foot Dream Weaver, is the owner’s third West Bay. Unique features include a fully enclosed bridge with stairs that connect directly to the extended aft deck. She has a three/three lower-deck layout with crew quarters aft.
