Saudade’s sail plan includes a 110 percent jib controlled by a Magic Trim system, a furling boom and PBO rigging. Her long-distance cruising equipment includes large water tanks (793 gallons per side) that can do double duty as ballast.

The deck has a low, aggressive pilothouse and a removable rigid bimini that serves as an extension of the deckhouse. A wide cockpit door provides access to the salon, enhancing the inside-outside living concept Wally favors. Guest quarters are aft with a master suite, master office and two double guest cabins. The raised main salon is amidships and provides a 360-degree view.
