News from RMK Marine includes an award for 120-foot Caressa K, which took home an honor for design in the 32- to 43-meter powerboat category from the International Superyacht Society. Designed by Vripack Yachting, the elegant trawler yacht is intended for long-range cruising and luxury living. The latest project for RMK is a 52-meter ketch with an interior designed by Redman Whiteley Dixon. Project Manager Paul Johnson, who managed the build of Mirabella V, will also serve as the owner’s representative. Plus, the Turkish shipyard recently launched the 34-meter motor yacht Cornelia. The stately yacht is a De Vries Lentsch design and calls Holland home. Cornelia is the first motor yacht for an owner who has previously cruised exclusively in sailboats. Visit www.rmkmarine.com.tr.

Construction is under way on a large-scale expansion at the Roscioli Yachting Center in Fort Lauderdale. The full-service facility comes with a multimillion dollar price tag and will comprise four acres adjacent to Roscioli’s current location. The construction of the new corporate headquarters will provide new executive workspaces and state-of-the-art offices for clients present when their yacht projects are in progress. The new 100,000-square-foot yard will house fabrication, refit and painting facilities for yachts up to 155 feet. In addition, close to 100,000 square feet of dry dock space will be added, allowing for nearly 100 large yachts to be housed. The facility will also boast a new 165-ton travel trailer to complement the existing 220-ton travel lift. Visit www.rycshipyard.com.
