The new Feadship facility in Aalsmeer, the Netherlands.

Wellington Yacht Partners opened its main offices in Portsmouth, Rhode Island. Established by industry veterans Ted Hood Jr., Murray Lord and Adolph Haffenreffer IV, the company offers a diverse range of sail and motor yachts up to 300 feet, as well as charter and new construction services. At close to 20,000 square feet, the new Feadship complex at Koninklijke De Vries in Aalsmeer, the Netherlands, is now open. The complex houses new workshops and storage and office facilities. Visit www.feadship.nl.

At Fraser Yachts, Hein Velema was appointed commercial director, based in Monaco. As commercial director, he will assume overall responsibility for the charter division and marketing department in addition to his current sales responsibilities. Taiwanese Kha Shing Enterprises broke ground on a major expansion that will allow the company to meet the increasing demand from Hargrave customers around the globe. Visit www.hargrave.org.

The first 147-foot yacht for Turkish yachtbuilder Sunrise Yachts is nearly completed. The company is keeping true to its plans of completing two 45-meter Paulo Scanu-designed sistership motor yachts with interiors by Franck Darnet for deliveries in 2009. Visit www.sunriseyachts.com.
