Designer Laurent Giles has two
projects under way that will keep him hopping between Italy and
the United Kingdom. Under construction at Italy’s Fincantieri Yachting,
Prospect is a 70-meter motor yacht that features several unique amenities. A
beach club with an infinity pool offers 180-degree views. The observation deck
provides a glass floor 16 meters above the surface of the ocean. The bridge
deck is highlighted by a glass elevator that rises from within the spa pool up
the forward face of the main mast, through the observation deck, to a
position 21 meters above the water. The forward-facing VIP suites have
private terraces and a combined internal floor area in excess of 100 square
meters. 
Giles’ second project is a 38-meter tri-deck explorer motor
yacht that will be built at Pendennis Shipyard in Falmouth, United Kingdom.
She sleeps 10 in five cabins, with a full-width master suite and crew
accommodations for up to eight. The flybridge features lounges, a generous spa
