Waterfront: Cooler than the Fonz
Delta Marine Readies Launch of Largest Composite Yacht Built in the Americas.

Delta 164
Delta Marine’s 164-foot Happy Days, the largest composite yacht built in the Americas, is nearing completion. This full-displacement vessel is the fourth in this hull series. To satisfy its owner’s request for more interior space, Delta modified the mold to extend length and width.

Delta executed the architecture, exterior styling and interior design. Light woods and cool colors carry the look of the ocean inside. Glass has replaced stonework from guest heads to dining room to galley, for a light and airy environment.

With her broad 34-foot beam, Happy Days offers 7,500 square feet of living space. She features a master suite on the upper deck with its own lounge forward and an intimate dining area aft. Two VIP staterooms are on the main deck, and four guestrooms are on the lower deck. An elevator serves all four decks.

Twin Caterpillar 3512 diesels will generate 17 knots and cruise at 14 knots over a 5,000-nm range.
