P.A.E. Marries Expedition Yacht Ruggedness to Yachtfisher.
Waterfront: Crossbred Cruiser

Pacific Asian Enterprises (P.A.E.) has added the tough seagoing characteristics of its explorer yachts to a new 75-foot luxury yachtfish design in what will be called the Nordhavn Expedition Yachtfisher (EYF). Construction of Hull No. 1 will begin shortly, with delivery expected in mid-2007.

The ABS composite build will feature a full-displacement hull displacing 118 tons, a 22-plus-foot beam and a draft of 6 feet 6 inches. Twin 740-hp Detroit 60 diesels will provide a maximum speed of 13 knots, with a range in excess of 4,000 nautical miles at cruise speeds. The EYF will come with custom single or twin bait tanks, extensive rod-and-tackle storage and a Bauer dive-tank compressor with four-bottle fill capacity.
