Building on last
year’s successful Moonglade series, Setzer Design Group has recently completed
the design of a 210-foot motor yacht for a Middle Eastern client.
Inherently modern, Sword Dance will house
a glass elevator that accesses four decks and culminates in the observatory. A
private pilot level comprises a captain’s suite with full navigation office, as
well as a skylounge amidships. Special berths are also provided for the owner’s
private chef, first mate and engineer. The yacht’s top deck hosts an outdoor
pool and helipad. Designed with steel hull and aluminum superstructure,
Sword Dance is expected to top out at 16 knots, with a
cruising speed of 13 knots. The owner and designer are in the final stages of
selecting a builder. She will deliver in 2007.
