Rugged new expedition designs joins Norther Marine's fleet.

Offering a new twist on its proven expedition designs, Northern Marine’s 7800
series is now available with an aft pilothouse in addition to the standard
forward cabin version. Stuart Archer, in-house designer, is responsible for the
naval architecture and design. One of each model is currently under construction
for a spring 2006 launch using vacuum- infused FRP with vinylester resins.
The new aft pilothouse trawler offers an expanded skylounge just aft of the
enlarged pilothouse and is available in a number of different cabin
configurations. Powered by a single 475-hp MTU Series 60 engine, the
full-displacement yacht will cruise at 10 knots with a top speed of 11.5

The electronics package includes a 19-inch display VGA black-box
radar with ARPA tracking and a three-location pan/tilt/zoom remote control
camera system.
