Bremen Builder to Begin Starkey Design.

Abeking & Rasmussen is again pairing up with British
designer Donald Starkey on 190-foot Lady Sheridan, due for delivery to her American owner in February 2007. Starkey
will provide both exterior and interior styling while A&R’s own engineering
team will complete the naval architecture. According to Starkey, the steel
and aluminum yacht will be based on Ultima III, Excellence III
and Zenobia,
a successful run of boats that he designed for A&R over the last few
years. Starkey says her interior, similar to Excellence,
will be a restrained modern style with interesting wood and fabric combinations. Called Lady Sunshine during her planning,
Lady
Sheridan will be powered by Caterpillar 3516B Series II
engines.
