Waterfront: Mulder’s 68 Wheelhouse
Dutch builder starts construction on a new model.

Mulder Shipyard in the Netherlands recently took an order from a Dutch client for its new 68 Wheelhouse. The steel, round-bilge motor yacht has an aluminum superstructure. She will have a large wheelhouse and partly covered aft deck.

The spacious wheelhouse will be paneled in cherry and will have a large leather sitting area with a table and built-in refrigerator. The rest of the interior will be cherry as well. There is an open connection between the wheelhouse and the lounge on the lower level, creating a feeling of expanded space. The lounge has a large corner settee, a coffee table, a leather armchair and a cabinet with a plasma TV that raises and lowers.

The master is positioned aft and has an ensuite bathroom. There are two guest suites, one a double in the bow and the other a twin aft. Delivery is scheduled for next summer.
