Dutch Builder Gets Even Bigger with 80-Meter Build.
Waterfront: One-Upsmanship

Oceanco 262
Oceanco recently moved its as-of-yet unnamed 80-meter (262-foot) motor yacht to the company’s Alblasserdam shipyard for the remaining build out. The vessel will be a fitting follow-up to last year’s launches, 66-meter Dilbar and 62-meter Lady Christina. Slated for an August 2006 launch and November 2006 delivery, the Nuvolari-Lenard design has a steel hull with a 14.2-meter (47-foot) beam and aluminium superstructure.

Alberto Pinto designed her interior, which comprises a master suite, three double VIP staterooms, and two double and two twin guest rooms. Visitors reside on the main deck, while the owner occupies the forward upper deck. A wall of glass will afford the owners a view across their terrace and past the bow. (Click images to enlarge)

She will be capable of accommodating 30 crew, including the captain, in 17 cabins. Twin MTUs will generate 4,680 horsepower for a top speed of 19 knots. At 14 knots she will cover 5,500 nautical miles.
