CMN Reprises its Successful MY Bermie.
Waterfront: Part Deux

CMN 190
Like most sequels, the second Bermie will be bigger and more impressive than the original. The same cast – owner, builder CMN of Cherbourg, France, and designer Andrew Winch – has reunited to construct a 190-footer, 30 feet longer than the first motor yacht Bermie. This time around, Winch is taking a larger role, designing both the interior and exterior. Delivery of the 1,020-ton vessel is slated for September 2006.

Building to MCA and SOLAS regulations, the new Bermie will feature an 1,100-square-foot owner’s suite on the main deck. Accommodations comprise a VIP stateroom on the bridge deck and four ensuite guest cabins belowdecks. The bridge deck houses a skylounge, a game room and captain’s quarters aft the wheelhouse. The engineer and 12 crew will berth on the lower deck in a private cabin and six double cabins, respectively.

Twin 2,230-hp Cat 3516B engines will push Bermie to a top speed of 16 knots and provide a cruising range of approximately 5,000 nautical miles.
