Newcastle Reveals First Build in Its 112-Foot Motor Yacht Series.

Newcastle Marine will start production of a 112-foot (34-meter)
tri-deck motor yacht, the first in a new series. Michael Burvenich and the team
at Murray & Associates are responsible for the yacht’s exterior and interior
designs, as well as her engineering. Designed for blue-water cruising, the 112
has a beam of 25 feet 6 inches and a draft of six feet. The client selected
Newcastle because of its extensive experience in producing expedition yachts
that have circumnavigated the globe. The 112 is scheduled to launch in March
2008. Newcastle is also working on a 164-foot (50-meter) yacht for December 2007
delivery.
