Lady Moura Returns to the Yard to Freshen Up.
Waterfront: Sweet Sixteen

ThyssenKrupp 344
Lady Moura, one of the largest yachts in the world and a familiar sight on the French Riviera and in the Mediterranean glamour ports for a decade and a half, is back at Blohm + Voss in Germany for a refit. The refit is her fourth at Blohm + Voss, now a division of ThyssenKrupp Marine Systems. In addition to general repair and refit work, the job will include comprehensive preservation work on both the hull and superstructure. The work should be completed this month. Blohm + Voss built Lady Moura in 1990 in accordance with the specifications of Italian architect Luigi Sturchio. She is 344 feet (105 meters) long, has fuel capacity for transatlantic crossings and accommodations for 61 crew.
