Dick Young, Tony Castro and the Royal Huisman Shipyard have created 118-foot Arcadia, a rare motor yacht for a builder synonymous with superior sailing vessels. The American owner should take delivery shortly, after a four-year build. Tony Castro’s classic aluminum displacement hull emphasizes stability, range and sea-keeping rather than speed. Young’s Edwardian interior features sweetania mahogany—a warm wood with an old-fashioned look—for most of the furniture and paneling. Accommodations include main-deck owner’s suite, four guest staterooms, captain’s double and quarters for six crew.
