Mantis is a retractable, portable awning that mounts quickly – using 11 possible
mounting configurations – to rails, decks, sidewalls, seats and rod holders.
Constructed of UV and mildew-resistant fabrics, powder coated 6061 aluminum,
nylon and stainless steel fasteners, Mantis weighs five pounds and stows, even
while mounted, to a space not much larger than a golf umbrella. It opens
quickly and can remain deployed at speeds up to 15 m.p.h.
It comes in three
sizes – the medium size provides 11 square feet of overhead protection – and a
variety of colors.
