The contemporary-styled housings for Night Vision Technologies’ (NVTi) 5000 and 6000 series of multi-sensor vision systems match the stylish lines of today’s yachts. The 5000 series employs a thermal imager with three field-of-view options: 36, 23 and nine degrees. A high-resolution 312-times-zoom color camera and an ultra-low-light lux camera are standard.

Three 6000 series models offer the same standard and optional capabilities as the 5000 series, plus a two-axis gyro-stabilized platform. Standard object tracking allows the system to lock onto an object and follow it until it is out of the vessel’s path. Both series feature a 360-degree continuous pan and directional indicator. A proportional joystick and backlit controller simplify control. For optional remote access, a secure login allows users to view and control the camera via the Internet from any location.
