Deck Hardware is Flexitab’s custom line
of deck hardware created to provide a distinctive look to any yacht, while
providing functionality and aesthetic appeal. Items such as fairleads,
cleats and other deck hardware are created to outfit standard-use applications
with a custom look and are designed exclusively for a specific yacht or a model
line. For instance, the cleats and fairleads manufactured for the Ferretti
Group’s Mochi Craft 44-, 51-, 64- and 74-footers are integral parts of the deck
design. All items are milled in 316 stainless steel.
The company’s Sphera line of hinges allows the opening of
transom doors with complex shapes. The patented hinges operate with high loads
and are specifically intended for use on inclined surfaces. The system operates
on three axes, so a door can be perfectly aligned with the rest of the transom
surface.
